Mamata demanded the use of ballot paper instead of EVM

Chief Minister of West Bengal and Trinamool Congress chief Mamta Banerjee are addressing a rally in Kolkata on 21th July. This is the first time after the Lok Sabha elections that Mamata Banerjee is addressing a public rally. In this rally, she demanded the use of ballot paper instead of EVM in the election.

While addressing the rally, Mamta Banerjee said, “I have come before time because millions of people are standing on the roads in advance. Many supporters are on the streets. During this, Mamta was attacked on BJP. She said that the train is in the possession of the BJP. That’s why she has stopped the trains. But they should know that the sun shines even behind the clouds.
Mamta Banerjee also questioned the expenditure incurred by the BJP on massive scale in elections.

She said that BJP is a party to dacoits. BJP tells us where to get so much money from him to contest elections.
TMC chief targeted the Left parties. Mamta Banerjee said that Left is the worst in all parties because her cadres and goons are working for BJP.
Prior to Mamta Banerjee, her nephew and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee addressed the rally. Abhishek Banerjee said that party workers are our strengths. If there is an election on ballot papers, I challenge the BJP to fight as many times as they fight against me, I will defeat them many times in my constituency. Provided the election is from ballot paper.
Significantly, in this rally, in 1993, 13 Congress workers of the Congress were killed in the firing of the Left Government, in whose memory TMC organizes martyr’s day on July 21 every year. Before this program 4000 policemen have been deployed.
