With COVID-19 cases touching a replacement high in India a day , things has created a way of panic and fear among the people. The cricketers inside the bio-bubble of IPL also are in constant fear and within the same light, Australian star Pat Cummins has come up with an enormous statement.
With many big names opining on whether the tournament should continue or not, Cummins feels that canceling the whole T20 league isn’t the solution to things . On Thursday, April 28, India reported 379,257 new cases and three ,645 new deaths. He stated that playing some 3-4 hours in the dark keeps people reception and a touch engaged and ending IPL is simply not the solution .“There’s a facet that us playing nightly for 3 or four hours hopefully contributes to creating people occupy home more, or at least… can help them get through every day . I don’t think ending the IPL is that the answer,” said Cummins as quoted by the WION news channel.
