Script Productions is a group of spirit driven young individuals, who share a common love for films and media. The journey started with a team of seven enthusiastic students who won a national level competition with a short film, made in just three days. Calcutta Youth Meet, the flagship event, is a very popular fetè organized by Script! Productions, which itself is a household name in the eyes of the youth. Calcutta Youth Meet chapter 5 happens to be the first-ever offline fest after the Covid-19 pandemic, greatest supporters throughout- Five Mad Men, BeBonnie, Redbull, 91.9 Friends FM, Aeon Security and T-Identity.
Number of events in CYM were 20 events, most of which happened offline. However, the finale of Fashion Show, Miss Calcutta, Western Band and Street Play, happened on 9th October, 2021, at Gyan Manch, Kolkata. With over a footfall of 300+ people, the event was more than just a success !
CYM 2021 joined by Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Riddhi Sen, who was also selected as this year’s Youth Icon of the Year, for the commendable social work he had done with his friends for the Covid affected patients, Apratim Chatterjee and many other well know social media influencers.
The event ended with a live performance by the Founder of Script Productions, Mr. Shinjan Mitra and a heartfelt message thanking all his teammates, judges, participants and audience for making this event, grander than ever!
