Archisman Nandy, a student of St. Agnes School, Kharagpur, achieved success in science-based merit test.


    Archisman Nandy, Class VI Student of St.Agnes School, Kharagpur has made his parents: Anindita Maiti Nandy & Mithun Nandy, school teachers and relatives proud with his bright and brilliant performance in a consistent manner shown in the Test for Scientific Taste (TST) Examination which is an annual academic assessment test event being conducted by Organization for the Cultivation of Science (OCS) affiliated to the Vigyan Prasar Network, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

    The main objective of TST Examination is to engage and encourage promising minds for text book reading, developing competitive attitude and taking up different entrance examination. In 2017 Class-V and 2018 Class-VI TST Examination (English Medium) Achisman topped the TST. Cricket mad and fond of Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli, Archisman decided to work very hard to make it Topper’s Hatrick by coming first in 2019 Class-VII TST Examination. Archisman has been learning and grasping the ABCD of basic and applied science education from his maternal grandfather Bankim Bihari Maiti who is happened to be an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur for his post graduate studies in Chemistry.

    Archisman has received Topper’s Trophy for Class-VI English Medium Test for Scientific Taste (TST) Examination-2018 during their Annual Seminar held on 29th December 2018. A poem entitled “Chemistry-The Apple of Science Eye” penned by Archisman has been published in the Pratifalan, an annual journal of OCS.
